About poet :-
Emily Dickinson was one of the greatest American poets. She was born in 1830 in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA, and lived a very quiet and private life. She did not travel much and spent most of her life at home, writing poems.Emily Dickinson wrote about nature, life, death, love, hope, faith, and the soul. Her poems are short, deep, and full of meaning. She used simple words, but her ideas were very powerful and thoughtful. Her writing style was different from other poets — she often used dashes (—), capital letters, and short lines.During her lifetime, only a few of her poems were published. People did not understand her style at that time. After her death in 1886, more than 1,800 poems were found in her room. Later, the world realized how great she was, and today she is considered one of the most important poets in English literature.
